Synopsis: Summary of investigation in Seattle Division.

Details: In addition to the séarch conducted in Tacoma, _
Washington, Seattle is conducting extensive investigation into
the Washington State criminal, family, and residence histories of
suspects JOHN ALLEN WILLIAMS and LEE BOYD MALVO. Ali leads
initiated from that investigation will be covered by Seattle and
provided to Baltimore via Rapid Start.
For the immediate interest of the current fugitive
investigation in Baltimore, thé following information regarding
the aforementioned suspects is provided:
A recently as June 2002, Williams and Malvo were
residing in the Bellingham, WA area. Together they lifted
weights and worked out to an extreme extent. Williams pushed
Malvo's physical development and their public interaction with _
each other was militaristic. They are both described as being in
excellent physical condition.
Williams, an Islamic convert, expressed anti-American
sentiments to witnesses and sought to make contact with anti-
American Muslims in the Vancouver, B.C., Canada area. To the
extent he actually established himself with any such individuals
is yet undetermined.
