“Significant Info. On Malvo/Muhammad” - 10/23/02: Calle{ | leased warehouse portion to Muhammad (Williams) from 3/95-4/97. Williams’ address then: 7203 Ainsworth St, . Tacoma, WA. Subject rented wi address o & Williams business name — oy Stroh Competition Karate Team.’ The lease address: 8818 Bridgeport Way in SW Lakewood, WA. - 2"! Williams’ Business: “Express Car & Truck Mechanic’ — pe < P.O. 98382, Tacoma 2 . Phone- When Williams left in 96’, he owed $2700.00 in rent. ~ 10/23/02: Muhammad found to have shared a P.O. box in state of Washington with wife shows an address 0 in Virginia Beach, Va. (Phone: ~ 10/23/02: Sed] Source and two workers were attending to a broken be D water line in the 4900 block of Bethesda, Maryland. He and another employee’ went to Bannockburn Dr., to shut down a main-valve, and had to traverse a grassy/brush filled area. This area brought you to East Halbert, at the dead end of a cul de sac. At app. 3:30-3:45 p.m., the source walked back for tools (app. 60 yards) where he observed a-black male (Clean cut/shaved) moving toward him (Black boots, either “High Tech” or “Magnum” brand-Blue or black pants- Black or. blue baseball cap w/front.of hat broken down with two staples i in it-" Green vest & Yellow T-Shirt underneath. ~ This unknown subject asked the source what street he was on. He told him and noticed that this person looked beyorid him toward Bannockburn. The person walked away and was noticed turning around, and again walking past the two workers. He replied that he. was_admiring their work. The source last observed this man cross Bannockburn and continue on E. Halbert. He never saw this subject again, and viewed no other persons/vehicles nearby. The sourée, after watching the news photos following the subjects arrests, positively identified this person as John A. Muhammad, through a photo array supplied by investigators. - INVESTIGATIVE NOTE: Another worker interviewed noticed this subject looking lost/unfamiliar with the area, but staring at bushes that lead in the direction of a school. Investigators may want to re-check this . brushy/erassy area to determine if anything of investigative value may have been deliberately dumped/thrown away at this location. ;
