RUDOLPH NUREYEV is 4a well known male Russian
ballet dancer who defected and has received considerable
publicity in the American press regarding his dancing with
the Royal Ballet Troop which visited the United States on
several occasions. He was the subject of an article which
appeared on page 45 of the June 14, 1963 issue of Time
magazine, {V)
By communication dated July &, 1963, the Los
Angeles Office advised that RUDOLF NUREYEV had last
danced with the Royal Ballet at the Hollywood Bowl, Los
Angeles, Casifornia, on 7~5-53 and was scheduled to depart
separately from other members of the troop for New York. (a)
