- During the weekend of April 19, 1969, incendiary

demages resulted. Newallo has publicly stated these acts were ‘
perpetrated by his enemies in the CCGP. Hempstead police officials
ere i investigating these incidents but no Suspects have been +

It is noted that the trouble described above concerns
blacks only and there are no whites involved. Therefore, any
tense racial situation in Hempstead is the result of blacks
disagreeing with each other and there is no evidence of white
involvement. ;
