AaronVHenry, President, Mississippi National
Association fo¢ the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP),
Clarksdale, Mississippi, announced through news media on
November 20, 1969, that Roy Wilkins, Executive Director,
NAACP, New York, New York, would participate in a protest
aparch at Clarksdale, on Saturday, November 22, 1969. David
‘Self, Negro male, active in Negro protest activity at
Clarksdale, confirmed on November 20, 1969, that Wilkins
was expected in Clarkedale, Mississippi, on November 22, 1969.
Aaron Henry advised a Special Agent of the FBI
on November 21, 1969, that Wilkins would be present for a
memorial service for President John F, Kennedy at the First
Baptist Church, Clarksdale, Mississippi, 8:00 A.M,, Saturday, _
November 22, 1969, after which there would be a meeting of
Mississippi. Chapter Presidents of the NAACP in what was
termed "An Antomy of a Movement", which Henry described as
a discussion of the legal s means of protest. He staed that
