Copy of "Biographical Data on Roy Wilkins" enclosed teo3 8054-32 On 5/10/63 the Savannah Office furnished information relative . to a conference of the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville, Louisville, Ky. (Date not given) me advised hat he thought the conference was helpful and sa iefs of Police were divided into groups and each group had the opportunity to and CORE officialsastotheir respective problems. It ques vas illin impress ion that Roy Wilkins, NAACP official, was well received, but the CORS official, James Farmer, made no friends with the group because he advocated violence, if necessary, on the part of his group to achieve their objectives.
