on February 20, 1948, the New York Office had set forth information by letter
in“the ease entitled "John Reed Soeiéty of Harvard University, Internal url
G3" to the effect that Prof. Robert S. Lynd had addressed a group known aa. The

1931 Lynd had been a member.of the faculty of Columbia University attache
