The New York Office has usually assigned a Special igent from the criminal squad to meet the Attorney General, as these Agents ire most familiar with the city, the location of the U. S. Attorney's Offi:e, the Police Department, etc. To insure that the automobile used is alway : clean and properly representative of our equipment, it has been the prac‘ice to use the car regularly -assigned to the Assistant Special Agent in Char:.? of the Criminal Division of the New-¥ork-Offica~«~ =. - ev ae —_—we wr ~ Lghecked with New York and ascertained that the on y regular ] Bureau automobile now equipped witha commercial radio is th > one assigned to the Special Agent in Charge. _ ACTION TO BE TAKEN: While the New York Office can of course use the au »mobile assigned to the Special Agent in Charge, when meeting the Ati: rney General, | there will be times when this automobile will not be available.
