cent, it was not considered that it would be necessary to set
out an undeveloped lead to interview him at a later date.
At the Richtield O11 Company, no record eould be round
of the employment cf thie applicant. It was pointed out, how-
ever, that the service station at which he is stated to have
worked 4a located et 2706 East Whittier Boulevard, this being
the address of arrlicant's residence. It was ascertained that
at thet address applicant's father maintains his general mer-
shendice atere, and also has a service station which he leases
from time to time. Tt was learned that the Tessor of ‘the ser-

Whittier. Upon interview, he stated that applicant had never
been regulerly exployed by him, but that during rush periods
‘he may have done odd jobs from time to time; that applicant,
during most of that time, was employed for his father in his
father's general merchandise store. SMRIRMMMB stated, how-
ever, thet applicant was an industrious young fellow and had
never caused any trouble around the community at any time.

cantts farily, she has had occasion to observe applicant as

thet he has always been a fine young fellow and hes never
