UnAmerican Activities Committee. also stated that the process
was underway , though it took som me to get his file. If, indeed, you
are able to do this for him, is it also possible that this can be done for 4]
Faul Robeson's file? I am also interested in seeing the material on Robeson
in both ‘the State Department and the Federal Pureau of_Investigation.
Robeson had his passport taken from him in 1950 and he did not regain it
until 1958 when Rockwell Kent won his décision. I read recently in the
New York Times that material dating back over fifteen years ago is now
open for research in the "PI, Is this accurete? Whatever help you may be
able to dfer in any of these arezs would be much appreciated.
