This statement sets forth that the Festival idea is supperted by the Werld Federatien ef Democratic Youth (cited as a Cemmunist organization in the House Committee on Un-American Activities (ucua) Guide te Subversive Organizatiors and Publications, anuary 2, 1957, page 94), with headquarters in Budapest, Hungary and the International Unien ef Students (cited as a Communist erganization in the HCUA Guide, abeve, en page 48) with headquarters in Prague, Czecheslevakia. It was decided to held the 7th Werld Youth Festival in Vienna, Austria during the summer of 1959. a This source advised in April 1959, that the US. té~‘~:™:S Festival Cemmittee is lecated at 246 Fifth Avenue, New York City, and is still active.
