Letter” by JOHN WILLIAMSON.
JOHN WILLIAMSON Was convicted on October
“324, 1949 in United States District Court, Southern
District of New York, for violation of the Snith Act
of 2940. On October 21, 2949, be was sentenced to
serve five years in prison and to pay a fine of
$30,000. He was released from Federal prison on
March 1, 1955.
WILLIAMSON was erences permission to leave
the United States voluntarily under warrant of
deportation and departed from the United States for
England on May 4, 1955.
