Judgment directing defendant to issue a passport to
Plaintiff in standard form and for standard duration,
"2. The Secretary of State decided on June 25, 1958 that
Plaintiii was entitled under the applicable decisions
of the United States Supreme Court of June 16, 1958
in KENT and BRIBHL v. DULLES, No. 481, to be granted
the requested passport and on that date the
defendant issued to the plaiatiff the passport | ot

On April 16, 1958, the American Embassy, Prague, forwarded
a communication to the Department of State reflecting that during
the preceeding week the Czechoslovakia prese had prominently
Played wp reports of the subject's 60th birthday with front page
photographs and stories recalling subject's "heroic fight against
fascist oppression," It was stated that the Ceechoslovakian
Compittee of Peace Defenders reportedly sent a letter toa the
Pepertment of State with a demand that subject be granted a
passport so that he might appear in the Prague Spring Musical
Festival, It was further stated that on April 9, 1958, “Bridge
Aeross the Gcean," a film which subject had a hand in producing,
was shown in Prague and the publication, “Prade” of April 10,
1958, reported that the subject had sent a telegram of thanks +o
the start of Prague radio and television station responding to _
their good wishes on his birthday.
