learned that on July 8, 1957 O'NEYE-CANNON, a CP nenbder,
ad FRANKIE-SIMS had taken PAUL ROBESON to the Internationay
rport, Los Angeles, California, on July 6, 1957 in order to board}
an American Airlines flight to San Prancisco and Oakland, During
hig stay in the Los Angeles area, PAUL ROBESON had resided with ~
FRANKIE and GEORGE-SIMS, This source advised that FRANKIE SIMS -
was the former treasurer of the Los Angeles Chapter of the
National Negro Labor Council (NLC) and that GEORGE SIMS was also
& member of the Los Angeles NIL, -
The National NLC has been designated by the Attorney
General of the United States pursuant to Executive Order 10450,
II, APPEARANCES OF PAUL ROBESON IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA =
“ it was announced oy ROSE CHERNIN KUSNITZ that sne nad
received a long distance phone call from ‘the wife of PAUL ROBESON
advising that he had accepted the invitation of the LACPFB to
sing at their Festival of Nationalities, which would be held

ROSE CHERNIN KUSNITZ was convicted for violation of the
Smith act of 1940 at Los Angeles, California, on August 5, 1952
and was acquitted by the U. 8. Supreme Court on June 17, 1957.
