that the subject was one of the main speakers at this conven-
tion. The meeting was opened with the singing of the National |
Anthem, and there was laughter at "the land of the free and -
the home of the brave". The informant stated that the subject |
was chosen as a delegate from Connecticut to attend the . =
National Progressive Party Convention at Chicago. These -. |
delegates vould be sent by the State Central Committee of the.

run for Congress at this convention and she said that she
