Mr. LYONS produced for the review of the interviewing agants a Copy “
of the paper which he had signed amd which had been prepared, he said, by
SURINE. This paper merely stated that SURINE had related to LYONS a state-
ment made to him orally that day, March 29, 1950, by BARMINE and Lyons con-
firmed that it corresponded in essence with what BARMINE had told him sone
years previously. The copy which lf, LYONS exhibited was not signed.
In connection witn the above, Mr. LYONS commanted that he now
thought that if BARMINE was questioned relative to his making a statement
to SURINE that BARMINE would say he had never mads any such statement,
However, he added that Mr. BARMING would be in a much better position to :
