Date of transcription 5/13/91 i at , was interviewed at nm the central campus of the University of Michigan regardin eee Jana provided the following information: stated that He stated that everyone at knows that is a "gun-nut" anda "military nut" but he does not feel as if he is dangerous and in his opinion none of the other employees consider[] to be a dangerous person. stated that(___Jbelieves in some, but not all, of the ideas of the John Birch Society. He further explained that is more concerned over what he sees as rising socialism than in racial matters and is especially concerned over gun control matters. further advised that he has no knowledge of [—sdjbeing part of any organization which discriminates against minorities and_he has not heard him make any racially negative statements.[_——sidwWStated that[___—sidibellongs to a group known as "OP4" which he believes is an acronym for "opposition forces". It is his understanding that this group works with the Michigan State Police and the U. S. Army Reserve and acts as "terrorist" and "opposition forces". Although he is not certain what occurred it is his understanding that either the Michigan State Police or the Army Reserve terminated their relationship with this group.
