Officers include Jerry Dutton, Information Director; James Robert McDaniel, Jr., National Chairman; and Irving Thacker, National Vice Chairman. The program, activities, aims and purposes, publications and propaganda, and uniforms of the NWAP are similar to those of the NSRP. The thunderbolt is likewise the NWAP symbol. During the first year of its existence, this organization conducted demonstrations, campaigned against the re-election of President Johnson, and picketed the civil rights march in Selma, Alabama.
