This Title increases the regulation of domestic and international commercial transactions in methamphetamine precursor chemical and enhances the criminal sanctions for methamphetarnine related crimes, including the smuggling and selling of methamphetamine. For example, the Title requires sale of products containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine be limited to a 3.6 grams per customer per day, and the products be available only “behind the counter” at sales locations.
