I would like to volunteer my services for whatever they may be worth to your organization. I do this only with a view in mind of assisting in an unbiased manner and to help in any way I can. competi- tions since l925, and in doing so, have of necessity, been involved with the National Rifle Association. Recently, as you know, the integrity and intent of the NRA has become suspect in the eyes of the public. If the allegations are true, so be it. I am just as anxious as anyone to see the allegations brought out in the open, and if the NRA is working at cross purposes to the welfare of our country, then let the chips fall where they may. I have no so- called axe to grind, and, as stated above, I am unbiased.
