Y an . @ FEB-23-96 14:Si FROM: ID: : PAGE 2/72 x¥E. *URGENT*** ET b6 b7C ittle after 1] a.m. today I received a call from someone identifying himself as|___| He said that he had called the New York Times and the Washington Post to report that in 1970 several members of NOW had approach several faculty members and students at a (unamed/university and tried to "extort’ sex. There are witnesses to attest to this, - according After the solicitation was made and accepted by several parties, there — ensued some sort of complications which resulted in a faculty member killing his/her sex partner. [remarks were quite irrational, accusatory, and threatening. He said twice that he wanted to “blow us away." He further tied in the "ILO" or International Labor Organization with aa both anti-and pro-feminist activities. He said that women representing labor interests would soon take over the feminist movement in America, I kept him on the phone to get an address _ h he gave as 1828 L St. NW, Washington, D.C, 20036. His phone number is: By checki fa for the "ILO" I found that the address is for an office within b6 conceming international labor issues. I called there and talked wi an bic ho su i said that] jwasa with them for six months, American Universi had done good work for them but di 10 days ago. A sec vemd fhotte address immediately told about the call and suggested that we lock the front be door to the office for today and next week. I believe that we should report this to both b7C the D.C. police and the FBI (since the threat was made across a state line). I would further suggest that we get a secured front door; I am concerned that we take security too lightly bere. Remembering ____| behavior, I think that we must be more protective.
