Religious services are held on the third floor in a ball which seate
100 persons. This roce bas a pulpit, and from the platform are exhibited the
Aserican and Moroccan flags. fhe points of the star used by the Moorish Science
Teaple are supposed to stand for love, trath, peace, freedom and justice. Tao
documents are exhibited on the walls of this particular roca; the first ie a
certificate from the Chicago Neadquarters of the Moorish Science Texple, which is
in effect a charter for the Hartford Temple, and the second represents the "Articles
ef Association® issued to the Haertfot Moorish Science Teaple by the State of
Connecticut on May 10, 1937.
