Aside from one or two cases, there has been no trouble caused “by
members regarcing compliance with the Selective Service Act, and investigations
made here to date have failed to disclose any pro-Japanese or un-American teach-
ings. However, checkups on this angle will be made until this point is settled
in connection with the monthly Megro survey of this office. The Moors are for
the most part a quiet, substantial type who confine their activities, social
and otherwise, within their omn group. Temple #10, for instance, has been locate
at the same address for more than 10 years and has elways consistently met its
obligations prozptly. The Temple occupies two large rooms on the third floor
of a loftetype building. Ome room is the Temple itself, with accomodations for
approximately 200 people. The other room is a restaurant where fish dinners
are prepared and served daily for members.

or flesh is sold in these stores in compliance with the Moorish dietary lew.

The initiation fee is $1.00 for all temple branches, of which 50¢
is considered the first dues, 25¢ covers the manbership card, and 25¢ for the
medallion. Thereafter, dues are 50¢ a month. The fez, worn by all male members;
costs £3.00. The ceremonial costumes costing from £16.00 to $20.00, are either
made up by the members or purchased from the National Headquarters as the members
choseés
The orgenization was incorporated under the laws of Cook County,
Tllinois, on July 20, 1928 (book 521, page 579). Ueetings are held on Sundays;
wednescays and Fridays from eight to ten p.m.
