He said thet all members o. the colony were registercd for thy draft and tina’ if he knew of anyone who wast not registered he would report them to the Draft Board himself. He said it was the policy of the organization to cooperate with the authoritics ov” the law, and he seid he knew of instances where the mationnl head, KIRK BY, had turned over to the police members who had committed crimes and had thun peid the necessary fines to get them out of jail. They said that the Local”colony owns one Hundred thirty-cight acres and that they have built the various buildings themselves. He advised that frequent donations were received from headquarters in Chicago and also from the ether temples and thaf 211 that he had to do was to write to Chicago or one of the other temples ani make a request for money and it was ferthcoming immediately; stating he had obtained everything he had asked for in the three years he had been there. He said this colony never had to send any money to any of the ether branches. When asked the reason for this, he said that this eolony was known as the National Home and that a number of the members who "den't feel well" would ceme there to regain their health. He said further that the membership of this ¢eolony did not werk on salaries and hence had no means of making mouvy for themsclves, though they did raise most of their food, He said.jost of the other tumples were located in large cities, where many of the members had jobs at food salaries, and they supported the colony by free-will donations, w BEY stated that the orpunizution has a monthly publication called the "Meorish Voite" of whieh is wife is editor.
