the FBI with Departmental Attorney D, RGBERT CWENS, Chief,
Southwestern Region, Civil Rights Division, U. S. Department
nf Justice, U. S. Attorney CHARLES L. GOODSON, Northern
District of Georgia, and ALLEN L, CHANCEY, Assistant U. 8.
Attorney, Northern District of Georgia, JORDAN was advised .
at the outset by Mr. OWENS of his right to counsel, that he
was not required to make a statement, and that any statement
he made may be used against him. No threats or promises were
issued to Mr. JORDAN, Mr. OWENS explained that the purpose
of the conference was to determine whether or not JORDAN desired
to sign a consent to plead guilty or nolo contendere and
transfer his case under Rule 20, Federal Rules of Criminal
Procedure, from the Southern District of Mississippi to the
Northern District of Georgia and, if sc, whether or not he
desired counsel pricr to making this decision. The provisions
of Rule 20 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure were
fully explained to JORDAN by Mr. GWENS,
Mr. JORDAN stated that he did net desire counsel
and that he desired to sign a consest to transfer his case for
plex -ad sentence under Rule 20 frem the Southern District of
Mississippi to the Northern District of Gecrgia. Mr. JORDAN
