On July 29, 1964, a search party of 100 naval officers and enlisted men, two Mississippi Highway Safety Patrolmen and four FBI Agents searched 300 acres including 22 wells owned by 0, A, FOX, Box 245, Route 5, Philadelphia, Mississippi. This jand is located six miles southwest of Philadelphia, Mississippi, halfway between State Highway 488 and State Highway 21. This search was conducted negatively in an effort tolocate SCHWERNER, GOODMAN and CHANEY.
