Date 11/24/64 The following ts a signed statement which was furnished by HORACE DOYLE BARNETTE on November 20, 1964: "Springhill, La_ November 20, 1964 "I, Horace Doyle Barnette, do hereby make this free and voluntary statement to SA Henry Rask and SA James A. Wooten, who have identified themselves to me to be special agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and SA Henry Rask have informed me that I do not have to make a statement, that any statement made by me can be used against me in a court of law and that I am entitled to consult with an attorney before making this Statement and that if I can not afford an attorney and I am required to appear in court, the court will appoint one for me. That no force, threats or promises were made to induce me to make this statement, "T presently reside at Cullen, La. I am 26 years old and was born on September 11, 1938, at Plaindealing, La.
