By letters dated January 25 and February 5,
1974, the Los Angeles Office has advised that American
International Pictures is making a_motion picture for
ABC-TV's ‘Movie of the Week” series that will bear
the title,"Melvin Purvis" or/"Purvis-—-G-Man."

This film reportedly will be a "spin-off"
of the character of Meivin Purvis (who was SAC of our
Chicago Office in the mid-1930's) as Purvis was por-
trayed in the 1973 motion picture "Dillinger" which
was also Produced by American International Pictures.
