It weakened Mu- hammad's position and au- thority. = _ Last Sunday, while Elijah Muhammad was speaking in Harlem, Malcolm X held an organizational meeting of a new group to be called the Organization of Afro-Amer- ican Unity. Another meeting will be held this Sunday to announce the objectives of the organization. It is de signed as a “grass-roots” movement drawing its mem- bership from all strata of America's 22-million Negroes. . A Replacement The OAAU will replate the {Black Natignalist Movement.
