A. Affiliation with the Socialist Workers Party (Si)
The SwWP is being designated pursuant
to Executive Order 10450.
At an OAs} public rally held at the Audubon
Ballroom at Broadway and 166th Street, Naw York City,
on December 20, 1964, MALCOLM X was asked by a member
of the audience if "The Militant” newspaper was his
paper since it gave him so much publicity. MAi.co x
cemmented that 1t was not, but that 1t was a good
paver and he urged everyone to buy it and read it.

At a SWP-New York Local meeting held on December ¢3,
1954, in New York Clty, it was announced that MALCOLM x
would be the feature speaker at a SWP Forum scheduisd for
January 7, 1965, and will speak on the topic of "Prospects
- for Freedom,"
It was also announced at this meetirg that 30
copies of "The Young Socialist", a Young Soctaiist Alliarce
publication, was sold at the MALCOLM XK meeting held the
