Willian D. Bresinhan, Esquire
Assistant Attorney General
State of Bew Tork
Albany, New York 12224
Dear Mr. Bresinhan:
This is in reply to your letter of October 16, 1964
erning the whereabouts and possible availability of Nalco
: ttle.
¥
The best we can determine is that he is traveling in
Africa. As of October 6, 1964 he was reported in Nairobi,
Kenya and had planned to be in Tanganyika on October 13. He
would then go to Uganda and return to Tanganyika. Me further \
planned visita to Quinea, Mali and Senegal before returning — ()
to New York, but the dates of such proposed visits are not -
known. He stated he would return to the United States after
the Bovenber 3, 1064 elections and ouxy information is that he
is planning to return to Bew York on Eovenber 15.

Although Maleola K was removed from his position of
second-in-command of the Nation if Islan by Elijah Muhanad '
after making intemperate remarks following the asesasaination
of President Kennedy, we doubt he has defected from the beliefs ,
of the Muslims or that there is any great ideclogical separation,
I am not faniliar with the exact nature of your cases
in New York but I would be surorised tf Malcolm KX would be of
any value to you az a witness if he were called.
With kindest personal regards, I a . . >
