LITTLE, @liso know as Malcolm ZX An article eppeared in the Oweha Worid-Hereld, Omaha, Nebraska, s deily newspaper, on dune 15, 1964, which revealed that Reverenc Kelsey Jones, President of the Citizens Coordinating Committee for Civil Liberties (4-CL), announced that Malcolm X would speek in Ouaha, Nebreske, at the Assently Halil in the City Auditorium et 8:00 p.m. on June 30, 1964. Reverend Jones is quoted as stating, "If you oan beck dold- water in Omaha, you ought to be able to listen to Malcole x.” On June 21, 1964, an article eppesred in the World- Herald newspaper entitled, "4-CL Explains Malcom X. Chance to See Type Who Hight Lead.” The article stated a spokesman for the 5-CL stated that Maloolm X, ‘the silitent Megro who recently broke from the Black Muslims to fora hie own group would give Onahane the opportunity to see the type of person who might be leading the civil rights movement in Omsha, if Negro neede are not wet. Reverend Jones aleo stated, "Taie is not to paint se scare picture. It just may indicate the direction the moveoent might go." Reverend Jones seid, “When existing, groups don't 5 mect needs other groups will emerge."
