MALCOLM told him that he was not completely opposed to the idea of integration, but that he did not believe integration would solve the problems of the American Negro. He feels the Negroes will be best off as a separate group within the white community. MALCOLM told him he believed in a Negro. nationalistic group, and he was trying to instill this within the Negroes in the same way the Zionist movement is attempting to instill nationalistic feelings in the Jewish people.
