GM 2c0503 that MALCOLM LITTLE, Minister of Temple 7 / of the NOT, acted as the Master of Ceremonies at this feast and introduced the various guests attending the feast. The "Pittsburgh Courier,” July 20, 1957, edition, carried an article captioned "Moslems Help - Welcome Leaders from Indonesia," which reads as follows: "NEW YORK - Malcolm X, disciple of Messenger Elijah Muhammad, spiritual head of the largest and fastest-growing group of Mosiems in America, wes on hand with Congressman Atam Clayton Powell to welcome to Harlem two of Indoresial's outstanding Moslem citizens: Dr. Sartono, leader of the Indonesian National party and chajrman of Parliament, and Mr.-Sunito, seeretary of Parliament. en “After welcoming ‘our Moslem brothers of the East here among us in the West, in behalf of Messenger Eli jah Munammed,' Malcolm X told Congressman Powell: + these leaders from Asia into Harlem to study th conditions here first har.d. "t¥ou show great wisdom and foresight, inviting "tthe 80 million Moslems in Indonesia ave only @ small part of the 600 miliion more in other parts of the dark world, Asia and Africa. “tWe here in America were of the Moslem world before being brought into slavery, and today with “he entire dark world awakening, ovr Moslem brothers in the East ‘iave a great interest in our..welfare. ! The "Les Angeles Herald Dispatch," August 8, 1957, edition, carried an article captioned "The Rev.
