As rumors persisted (and were denied) that the “flying sau-
cers” are radio controlled rocket or jet planes being tested se-
cretly, Washington got in the act today with a report from two
District women of strange goings-on overhead.
Meanwhile, assorted scientists
; came up with widely varying theo-
ries as to what—if anything—the
heavenly wanderers may be.
Dr. John G. Lynn, human be-
havior expert of Valhalla, N. Y.,
said people have the atomic jitters.
