ZI respectfully report for your information that on
Wednesday night, 9th. inst. I arrived home from
duty at approx. 11.30. .
Upon arrival at home I joined may wife, ay mother-in-law
and Mr. John Jackman a resident of St. John's and friend
of the family, who were sitting on the front steps of
the house. I was asked by my wife if I had seen
"f saucers" I tho she was poking and replied
that I had seen nothin: f e Jac and my mother-
in-law then told me that had really seen four objecte
flying in an easterly direction just ore I arrived, -
I asked them to describe what they had seen. Jackman said
that four round shaped figures passed overhead at @
terrific speed and were side by éide.
On looking skywards again my wife, Jacknan, and myself
saw a object which I would describe as be a huge jelty-
fish flash across the the e It would be ficult te
determine its hdight and speed owing to the brief period .
it was visible. it's colour also would be hard to onze
but there seemed to be a phosphorus glow about it, 4
was round in shape and about the size of a barrel head,
it appeared to be flying in a rocking motion.
