On June 14, 1974, the facts concerning this pC”
investigation were presented by to the Federal
Grand Jury (FGJ), NDI, Chicago, Illinois. U. S. Department
of Justice Attorney CHARLES WEHNER, who handled this
presentation, advised that no vote’would be requested of
the FGJ concerning this matter until June ll, 1974.
On June 11, 1974, the FGJ, NDI, returned a true
bill with a three-count indictment charging ADOLPH LEWIN
With violations of Title 18, U. 8, Code, Sections 2315
On that date, the U. S. Government entered a
motion for a restraining order and the establishment of
& performance bond with regard to ADOLPH LEWIN, dba Universal
Gem and Jewelry Company, Inc., Room 604, 5 North Wabash.
Oo that same date, USDC Judge EDWIN A. ROBSON issued the
restraining order and establishment of a performance bond.
