On April 18, 1974, ADOLPH LEWIN appeared before
U. S. Magistrate OLGA JURCO, NDI, Chicago, Illinois, At
that time LEWIN was represented by Attorney EDWARD CALJHAN
who advised U. 8. Magistrate JURCO that his client waived
2 preliminary hearing. LEWIN was then released by U. 8S.
Magistrate JURCO on a $15,000 Own Recognizance (OR) bond.
At that time, Magistrate JURCO bound this matter over to
the jurisdiction of the USDC, .

Concerning this investigation. At that
time, advised that LEWIN's activities would be
checked with regard to IRS jurisdiction.
By communication dated April 18, 1974, the Los pia
Angeles Office of the FBI advised that according to GD
for LIBERACE, that LEE LIBERACE
was currently residing at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New
York City, and perform © Westbury Music Fair,
Westbury, New rors. Giga further advised that LIBERACE
would be at the Waldorf-Astoria, New York City, until
April 23, 1974.
