CG 87-41572 CG 87-40596 CG 87-41578 , It is noted that LEWIN wes furnished with a copy of the inventory of the merchandise renoved from his premises, On April 17, 1974, while on the premises of the Universal Gem and Jewelry Company, Incorporated, 5 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, and during the search of these premises SA located b’7C in the shirt pocket of AROLPH UEVIN an envelope containing a Tiffany and Company pocket watch encrusted with jewels on the back of which was the script letter "L" which was also encrusted and surrounded by what appeercd to be diamonds. At that time ADOLDH LEWIN wos furnished a receipt for this pecket watch On April 17, 1974, following the search of the Universal Gem and Jewlery Company, Incorporated premises, ADOLPH LEWIN was removed to the Chicago Office via Bureau car where ke was fingerprinted and photographed, LEWIN was then renoved to the Centrol Detention _ Headquarters, Chicago Police Department 1121 South State Street, Chicago, Illinois, where he was held for safekeeping until his appearance before the United States Magistrate on April 18, 1974. On April 18, 1974, ADOLPH LEWIN appeared before United States Magistrate GLGA JURCO, NDI, Chicago, Tllinois. At that time LEWIN was represented by Attorney EDWARD CALLAIAN who advised the United Stoeies Magistrate that his client waived a preliminary hearing. LEWIn was then relensed by United States Magistrate JURCO On a $15,000 Ovn Necoenizance (OR) Bond, after having been bound over to the USDC,
