By a 4 to 1 vote a citizens group RB was permitted by the Board to schedule a 3 series of public forums on desegregation of schools. The first public forum was held last Thursday night at Rabouin School Au- ditorium. The Rev. Allen Hackett, pastor of the Pilgrim Congregational Church of St. Louis, spoke on how that community prepared itself for racial integration in the schools. “It was most refreshing to hear an b= a pr¢ssion of positive, intelligent and cén- structive views on how a more mature com- munity met the problem.
