The University of Texas at Austin and UT Police would like to extend an invitation for your department to be part
of the University’s EOC. On Friday, July 13, 2007 there will be a private service for Lady Bird at the Wild Flower
Center to be followed by the public viewing at the LBJ Library, which starts at approximately 1:00 p.m. until
approximately at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 14".
The University’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be operational for these events, from 8:00 a.m. until
8:00 p.m. in the University Police Building, 2201 Robert Dedman Drive on Friday and 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
on Saturday. Lunch and dinner will be provided. Parking is in the Littlefield Garage across the street frorn the
University Police Building. The supervision of the EOC will be by UTPD and the Director of Emergency
Preparedness.
While not all agencies may physically occupy the EOC throughout the day, we ask that each addressee provide
the name of a contact person and means of contact for your representative by return e-mail.
The EOC phone number is 232-7997.
A prompt response is appreciated because of the time frame constraints.
