Dear Sir: / /
On September 17, 1963, Mr. John S. Castles, an FBI agent of the Newport
News, Va. contingent, visited me at my place of employment (Ft. Eustis, Va.)
to interview me as to my interest in the subject of unidentified flying
objects (UFO's). I understand that Mr. Castles prepared a formal report of
that interview.
Since President Nixon recently has expressed his intention to assure that
the privacy and civil liberties of individual citizens receive the protection
they deserve under our form of government, it is in the spirit of that assurance
that I respectfully request that you send me a copy of Mr. Castles' report along
with a copy of all other documents in your files pertaining to my activities in
the UFO-research field. . arc-18 i - V2 9.
-I1] Yours sincerely,
Sr MA ari 4
