University (KSU), Kent, Ohio, during May 1-4, 1970. This . disruption included the destruction by fire cf a United States Army Reserve Officers Training Corp (ROTC) building and culminated with the slaying of four KSU stucents by members Of the Ohio National Guard. As a result of this disrupticn, on August 3, 1970, former State of Ohio Governor JAMES A, RAODES ordered tnat a Special Grand Jury be convened to investigate the events.
