Ne said that on the night of Saturday, May 2, 1970, be observed the burning of the ROTC Building on campus fron the roof of Johnson Hall, He stated he saw flares being huricd inte the building by some denonstrators and other demonstrators chopping at fire hoses with machetes, however, he was too far away fron the scene to be able to identify any of the denonstrators,. On Honday, May 4, 1970, he observed the demons on the Conmons from Johnson Hall-but again was too far fro the scene to make any identifications.
