Investigation hes not been completed in this District
with reference to the identity of the parties celled by Mulloy
and to whom the telegrams appear to have been sent, althouch it
does not eppear that any of these calle pertain to either this or
the Bremer case. Attention ie directed to the fact that kaywood
1893, Chicago, Tllinoia, 1a evidently the private telephone of —
Louie Staccle .
As outlined in the report of Special Agent W. Fe Trainor,
in this case, deted at Kansas City, Kissouri, December 8, 1933,
on page 11, the long diatance telephone call made from Kansas City,
Biseourl, to the Hollyhocks Inn, St, Paul, hinnesota, on the night
of June 16, 1955, was made from the Union Railroad Station, Same
was a station to station call and the name of no one, either calling
or being called, is shown on the record. A photostatic copy of the
long distance toll ticket reflecting thet call is herewith trans-
mitted to the Divisions

Inquiry was made of the telephone company of March 17,
1934 and March 19, 1934, to determine whether there were any long
dietense telerhane calle from the phone numbers Hiland 6707 and
Victor 4400 made to Beaumont, Texas, or other points in Texas, during
April, May or June 1923 which could be identical with, the oall
alleged to have been made by Paula Harmon to Theotord\ptey, és
mentioned in the reference letter from the Division. Agent was
advised, however, that the long distance telephone toll tickets for
the months of April and May 1933 have been destroyed, pursuant to
the regular policy of the telephone company. There may be a for
Kay tickets still available, and a searoh is still under way by
the telephone company to locate such as may be found.
The telephone company is still unable to locate any toll
tickets for Jackson 9515 or Jackson 9702 for May or June 1923,
It is thoucht probable thet there may have been some long
distance calls on Hiland 6707 for June 1932 which would now be avail-
able, and within the next few daye the Kansas City Office will be
advised as to what ig discovered in this connection,
It hea been indicated in several communicetions in the
Breer case that Paule Harmon is believed to have stopped at the
Reltimore Hotel during April or May 1933 when she was in Kansas City,
‘and, accordingly, the long distance telephone recorde in possession
of the auditor of the hotel were completely searched for the months
+ af Aneil_and Mey 1923 but there are found no long distance telephone
