Miller, or anyone else and appears to be evasive.
Recently it w:se developed through investigetion here that
irs. Psule Harmon visited at the home of Vernon C. Miller, 6612 Edse-
vele Roed,\iiarses City, Missouri, during the first pert of May 1933.
It is definitely shown thet she wes in Kenses City on May 15, when
she personally secured a pacxege of jewelry from the Railway Express
Azency at this place. Frank 3. Mulloy of this case hes identified a
vhotograph of Paula Hermon and also a photogreph of drzi:ur RA. Barker
as @ Man who wes in company with Peule Harmon ebout hay 13th in Kan-
sas City. It wus stcted by Mulloy thet Miller had a dark red sedan,
the rake of which he claimed not to know. The Essex Sedan was a car of
that color. It is nossible that Paula Harmon end Barker mizht have |
secured the Essex car from Liller on the occasion of their visit dur-
ing May, 1933.
Toe Kansas City office is not in possession of complete de-
tails in the Hamm kidnepinzs case, and it is sursested thet a report
shoming these details be forwarded to this office,
I conversed telephonically on March 13th rith Inspector
Rorer in St. Panl concerring the matters shown in this letter,
Very truly yours,
