March 14, 1934 MEMORANDOM FOR THE DIRECTOR Special Agent in Charge Brantley of the Oklahoma City Office, telephoned lest night at 9:45 P.M. to advise that through Special Agent Hartin at Hot Springs there hed been located e house ; about trelve miles from Hot Springs, wherein it is believed Galetas is resicing. Mr. Brantley stated that he was proceeding to Hot Springs with Agents F. Smith and Deaderick, wovld pick vp Agent Chipman eat Little Rock and proceed to Hot Springs and there meet Hartin and would immediately proceed this morning to the house wherein Galeates is supposed to be residing, and would advise the Division relative to the results of the raid on this house the first thing this morning, irrespective of whether Galatas is located or not. I eles suggested to Mr. Brantley that a re-investigation be made et Chickasha, Oklahoma vith reepect to the activities of onefLindsey and associates there, during the middle of June, 1958, Ur.’Brantley stated that he had already discussed this matter with Agent Teaderick but thet Deaderick did not feel that there was any- thing to this particular lead. I told him that the Division con- sidered this lead a very important one and that there was today being a letter directed to him, emphasizing this fact.
