Reference 1s made to Division adtter of February 27, 1934
relative to the matter of defraying the fhospitel nse and expenses
of medical attention for Eva Mee frichol » Ralphffowe and Wilbur Paderhill.
On Februery 27, I forwarded to the Division vouchers with respect
to the expenses of Eva Mee Nichols and Ralph Rowe. Fran this letter, you
will observe that Special 4gent Hensen of thie office recently bad occasion
to interview Misa Leta Henry, superintendent of the Shewnee City Hospital,
et which time ebe informed him that Mr. Sam Brown, warden of the State
Penitentiary at Mcélester, Oklehama, has informed her that the State of
Oklahoma will pey the hospital and otber expense of Wilbur Underhill.
This office is in receipt of a letter fran Special Agent in
Charge R. H. Colvin of the El Paso Division office, deted February 24, 1034,
in respect to this matter, and with which he trananitted 4 copy of a letter,
dated February 9, addreesed to him by Warden S. FE. Brown of McAlester, in
which it was stated that the Governor of Oklahoma hea "0.K.'d the payment"
of the bille ineofar as Wilbur Underhill 18 concerned.
Today, Special Agent K. D. Deaderick of this office had a con-
ference with Mr. ®, C. Hughes, Chairman of the State Board of Affairs of
the State of Oklahama, who advised him that the State of Oklahama will take
eare of the payment of the expenses of Wilbur Underhill; thet the same had
