beputy Sheriff Don Barrett, Concordie, Fansas, advised that
in addition to the identification of EKarpis and Berzer @ young wooian who
works at a hamburger stand across from the bank and who elso was kidnsped,
ddentified the photograph of Sam “aren, alias Sam Terrin, as one of the gang
who robbed the bank. He steted that Terrin wee in custody either in Chicsgo
or Minneapolia, Minnesota; that « atete warrant hed been issued in Kaneas
for Terrin but he had established ar alibi that he was in jail in Kinneapolis
on July 26, 1982; that efforts were being made by the State Sheriffte Office,
Lincoln, Nebraska, to return Terrin to Nebreske for robbery of the bank at
Fairbury, Nebreska, subsequent to the robbery of the Cloud National Banke ~ 7

Charles Funt, a criminal attorney at Concordia, and from whom little informa-

V4 T. We Wright and Chic Peck, officers of the Cloud County Bank,
’ steted that Charles Hunt accompanied John Wilcox, an ecployee of the bank, to
Minneepolis, Minnesote, to recover the bonds; that Hunt went along as the -
attorney for the benk at the request of the officers of the bank, They
advised that the bonds recovered were valued at approzimately $240,000.00
and the sum of $16,000.00 was paid for the return of them; that the negotia-
tions were carried on in Kinneapolis, Minnesota, by We S. Gordon, & represernte
. tive of the Burns Detective Agency. They atated the negotiations were coh-
fidextial and the details were never furnished to the officere of the benk.

and would not involve the banke
