He ~ stated thet nunerous leads hed been discovered for investigation in and — around Detroit and believed that he and Andersen should go there — _ personally to handle the more important leads and to acquaint the Detroit office with all of the facts sco that they can continue the. investigation in thet vicinity. He claimed that he could not telephone Detroit with sufficient clarity on account of thenumber of leads. He was cuthorized to proceed to Detroit and he and Andersen proceeded last night. Brantley stated thet the next best leeds eppeared to be at . tintgomery, Alabama, where the boy tho was formerly attending the University of Alabama, but was subsequently expelled, is now working . on a C.W.A. job.
